The sixth annual conference of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank (PNoWB) will be held 21 - 23 October in Helsinki, Finland. The conference is titled Beyond the 2005 year of development: What now? and looks to include sessions on climate change, health, trade, inequality and IFI accountability, as well as question and answer sessions with heads of the Bank and Fund. The conference is open to civil society participation. The PNoWB is a non-profit association, based in the World Bank's offices in Paris, which gathers together over 140 parliamentarains from 60 countries.
