Members of staff of the Bank and Fund, board members, development and finance ministers will be in Washington for the annual meetings, 19 - 22 October.

Civil society dialogues with the IFIs Organised by NGOs from 17 - 22 October, discussion topics will include low-income country representation in the IMF and WB, gender and the IFIs, clean energy and climate change, forestry and many others. Global Week of Action on Debt

From 14 to 21 October debt campaigners in over 30 countries will be taking part in a range of activities to highlight the ongoing debt crisis. With World Poverty Day on 17 October campaigners will be calling on political leaders to tackle the debt burden that still paralyses poor countries.
